Rita Hall Pfau Benefit

The Details:
Rita Hall Pfau was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. It came on suddenly and very unexpectedly. She was flown to Kalispell, Montana, where she received the diagnosis, and then she was moved to a healthcare center in Missoula, where she received medical treatment and 24/7 care. She went through radiation treatments, and was facing a long and difficult road ahead. Circumstances changed, and, unfortunately, Rita's time with all of us was cut short. Rita passed away in the early morning hours on April 19, 2018.
A longtime resident of Stevensville, Montana, and an active force within the community, Rita was involved in the school, the PTA, the Catholic Church, youth groups and much more. In 2015, she was awarded the "Good Neighbor Award" by the Stevensville Civic Club for her efforts in the establishment and also for her role as food service director, coordinator (and food server) in the Summer Free Lunch program -- a program that she established to make sure that no child went without a meal during the out of school months.
We will still be hosting the benefit to assist her family with expenses that were incurred, and for funeral expenses, so that they may spend time with each other, rather than focus on medical expenses.

It is free and open to the public, and we will have a free taco bar, with snacks, drinks and desserts available to everyone throughout the evening. Join us for silent and live auctions with something for everyone, ranging from gift cards from your favorite bookstore to a Guided Float Trip on the Bitterroot River! We will also have a bake sale at the event, so bring your sweet tooth too!
